We want to thank you for teaching our son Carter. You are a great addition to Amir Academy of Martial Arts and we appriciate your enthusiasm and passion in teaching your students. We recognize your care and concern for each student's success both in martial arts and their personal development outside of martial arts. We are grateful that Carter is both excited and eager to attend your class. We attribyte this to the environment you create. Not only do you encourage each student to excel and perfect their abilites, you also encourage your students to help each other develop their skills. We also appriciate that your students learn the proper techniques in both grappling and traditional martial arts, strength training, stetching, and respect for each other. This is a great attribute and demonstrates your understanding of your students.
Thank you for teaching!
Very Truly Yours,

Why Amir’s? When we decided to put my 7yr old son Sebastian in a martial art school, I really wanted him to study traditional Tae kwon do like myself to which I received my black belt. I didn’t like what I saw, it seemed like a lot of the Dojo’s didn’t have the level of skills in their students to what I was taught, kind of like every six months parents would buy their kids another belt as opposed to them earning it so the establishment would make more money. At Amir’s you don’t pay for each belt your kids have to earn and it’s free when they get it.
The other thing that I like is the Mixed Martial arts aspect of Amir’s. I still remember to this day the first time I fought with a boxer and a wrestler. I took a beating because you were so use to just sparing with people that studied Karate. With M.M.A. you cover Martial Arts, boxing and wrestling.
I was also looking for a Dojo like the one I studied at, that from the moment you walked in you could feel in the air the respect, honor and brother hood. Well I found that at Amir’s. I have seen kids come in with no discipline what so ever, change because of Mr. Jay, the Head Kids MMA instructor. He doesn’t just give up on them and tell the parents that it’s not going to work out.
The most important thing that I like about Amir’s is Mr. Jay. I have never met someone that teaches with so much passion and cares for each child as if they were his own. But still maintains a very strict and disciplined Dojo.

Amir's classes do so much more than give students physical skills and strength. His programs enhance self-esteem, build confidence and help participants to develop discipline that carries over into all areas of their lives. Through Amir Academy, students learn to strengthen their mind and body through increased physical coordination and mental discipline. The positive social and psychological benefits of training in martial arts typically involve a decrease in levels of aggression, hostility and anxiety, as well as an increase in self-reliance and self-control. Because Amir's training focuses on mind/body integration through a combination of meditative and physical activity, his programs increase the overall sense of balance and well-being clients experience.
Staying mentally and physically active helps people to enjoy life to the fullest, and the practice of martial arts is an excellent way to stay fit. Studies have also shown that practicing martial arts can help people with learning disabilities and depression, as well as a range of other challenges, to overcome and improve their functioning. Because of Amir's targeted approach to wellness, his clients are sure to see the benefits of their training carry over into all aspects of their lives. I highly recommend Amir Academy to anyone looking to experience an improved sense of well-being as well as a sense of belonging. If you are wanting an over all life change....Amir Academy will provide you with just that!

I have trained with Amir for 17 years. Both of my sons have trained with Amir throughout the years, beginning at ages 8 and 10, and still train with a Amir. The training has had a significant impact on their lives and development. Andrew has jus graduated from medical school and Mathew is a law student at Stetson University. The self esteem and discipline they show in their daily lives has a direct correlation to the training they have received with Amir Academy of Martial Arts. I strongly recommend parents to utilize this training to aid their children succeed later in life and improve their current situation.
